The X8 is a color controller that can be used both offline and online.
When used offline, programs are stored on an SD card and created using the free programming software LEDmagic.
When used online, third-party software, such as Madrix, can be used to connect and control the controller via ArtNet, or you can develop your own control software based on the ArtNet protocol.
The controller has 8 independent output ports, each capable of outputting independent signals. It is compatible with most common single-wire color controllers on the market, such as 1903, 2811, 2812, and 16703.
When used offline, each port can control up to 1024 RGB color pixels, for a total of 8192 RGB pixels.
When used online, each channel occupies 6 domains, for a total of 48 domains, for a total of 8160 RGB pixels.
The controller supports cascading to multiply the number of control points.
The controller has a built-in microphone and AUX jack for receiving ambient sound or audio input, making it a color music controller.
The controller supports DMX512 input and is compatible with DMX512 consoles or KTV room lighting control panels. The controller settings, such as speed, brightness, etc., can be quickly adjusted through external control.
